11-24-2010 The Weekly Claw

Sorry for being Missing In Action lately. Had lots to take care of around Casa Crustacean, but I’m back…and so is Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy, but not for long! Unfortunately for all of us, there is a real lack of interesting news this week.

The Crawfish fully believes that the whole controversy over the screening of airline passengers is getting blown out of all proportion. My solution? EVERYBODY goes through the scanners. Anybody who might be a muslim gets the full pat-down as well as a full background check. If the ACLU and CAIR don’t like it, too damned bad. We are at war with Islam, a war that THEY declared even if we are too chickenpoo to do it ourselves.

Islam’s assault on America continues, and The Crawfish fully expects the Obama Administration to assist CAIR in this lawsuit. CAIR is seeking to have an unelected federal judge throw out a new law in Oklahoma that was approved by the voters this month. The ballot measure prohibits state judges from considering Sharia Law or any other foreign laws when ruling on state cases. CAIR believes that this is somehow unConstitutional. I don’t see anything in the Constitution of the United States that prohibits states from enacting their own laws regarding non-American laws, so the 10th Amendment applies. Too bad, CAIR.

The Religion of Murder scored a victory in US Federal Court, with the assistance of Sultan Bu’raq al Obama and the Affirmative Action Attorney General, when a judge refused to allow evidence against one of the embassy bombers from 1998. Some of the evidence was obtained while the illegal combatant (who has exactly zero rights under the Geneva Accords) was being harshly interrogated. The interrogations, along with the crimes, happened away from the United States, and are not subject to American laws, but the Obama Administration purposely decided to try the perps in our courts instead of executing them after their interrogations, which is the proper treatment for illegal combatants. Is there any remaining doubt as to which side of this war Obama and his minions are on? All future Gitmo detainees will just claim that everything they’ve confessed to or that has been said about them came from harsh interrogations…they will all walk free.

Here’s a real shocker. George H. W. Bush has proven once again that he is a member of the blueblood elitist party-first wing of the GOP. He has endorsed Mitt Romney for 2012. Nobody who has ever paid real attention to politics has ever accused either President Bush of being a conservative.

The psychotic midget with the funky hair and high heels is turning power in North Korea to his completely inexperienced son. Since neither one of ‘em has anything positive to give their people, the only thing they can do is remind the peeps that they are still officially at war with the South. Hence, the Norks artillery attacks on an island village belonging to the South. The Obama Administration has moved some ships around and had Hillary! make some statements, but don’t expect anything serious from our side unless the Norks pop off a nuke.

If y’all come across any weird/stoooopid/strange news stories that might be fodder for The Weekly Claw or The Weekend Claw, e-mail them to me at CrawfishsClaw@yahoo.com and I’ll consider ‘em. Yes, I will give you newshounds credit.

"The precept of the Koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Mohamed is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force." John Quincy Adams

  1. I'll get the good to read you again out of the way first. Onward. A)The only disagreement here is these patdowns, molestations, screenings, are having exactly ZERO effect on stopping an attack. NO ONE is going to recreate the "Fruit of Kaboom" bomber any time soon. I say scrap this haphazard system,go to Israeli-style PROFILING,then drop the hammer on TRUE suspects using any or all the methods. B)IMHO NO state or Fed court should EVER make ANY decision based on ANYTHING but existing state or US law. PERIOD. C) Seems to me a number of us(including you) predicted an outcome like this LONG ago. Like when the asshats at DoJ first proposed this travesty.Time to simplify the process. Capture them, interrogate the info we want out of them, and then put them out of their(and our)misery.Problem solved. D)I'm STUNNED at this. Well, maybe not.The elder Bushes railing on about Palin, backing a most-likely loser, then going on about how LIKEABLE Bubba is??? Someone pass the Aricept. May you and your family, and all who visit here have a very happy, and filling,Thanksgiving. C ya.

  2. Unusually short, Craw!

I have to say, I don't agree with you on the airport screening, but you probably know that if you had a chance to read my blog yet.

I say we institute profiling tout suite, with Muslim men as the primary terr model. Use the Israeli method; their success rate is 100%.

    Hey, Happy Thanksgiving.

  3. clyde,
    a) I don't agree with the patdowns either, but the full screenings are just the next step up from metal detectors. Profiling is ALWAYS a good security/law enforcement technique. The only people who object to it are muslims and liberals.
    b) Yup.
    c) Exactly. It would also be much less expensive in these times of budgetary crisis.
    d) That family set conservatism back 40 years.

  4. Brian,
the Israelis don't have the kind of air traffic we have, so they can investigate much deeper than we could ever afford to, but profiling is a MUST.

  5. Absolutely. Here's part of a comment I wrote at Edamon's blog:

I gotta tell you, profiling is a standard law enforcement tool; it's used all the time; and there's absolutely no reason not to. The idea that somehow profiling violates "equal protection" issues is nuts.

Profiling leads to catching serial killers, among other criminal types. Do THEY have a "right" to not be profiled?

During the MLK era, when civil rights workers were murdered in the South (the "Mississippi Burning" episode comes immediately to mind), did the feds waste their time investigating Blacks? Or did they concentrate on Whites, particularly those who were Klan members (a perfectly legal organization)? Well... isn't that profiling?

If the cops have set up roadblocks after a bank was robbed by three Asian guys, are they supposed to ignore the fact that the occupants of most cars are non-Asians, or are they supposed to pay extra attention to cars containing Asians?

There is absolutely nothing "inconsistent with conservative positions" in using profiling in crime fighting, or the war on terrorism. As long as people aren't deprived of their liberty or property based on profiling, no one's rights have been infringed. You're just echoing Bush's rationale. Frankly, I thought it was a crock coming from him, and it hasn't improved with age.

I also notice that you didn't respond to my comment about Muslim women being allowed to "self-inspect". Why? That's a very important factor and issue in this debate. It clearly illustrates the extreme level of hypocrisy that pervades this whole debate, from CAIR through TSA right up to the White House, and includes anyone who supports such idiocy.

  6. Brian,
the thought of people being able to self-inspect is so moronic that I can't even come up with a comment that would do it justice...especially since it is one of the most suspect groups asking to self-inspect.

  7. Been praying for the people of South Korea. My sister was adopted from there and I know some others who have lived there in the past. Unfortunately, our president doesn't present much of a threat to the North Korean's, hence the artillery. Guess we'll see what China has to say on the subject.

  8. TSA agent: Can you identify yourself?
Abracadabra Al-Kaboom: Yes, this is me.
TSA agent: Alright then, no further screening needed. Board the plane.

  9. Craw and Salty:

    LOL!

    Salty, that was hilarious!

Yep, Craw, it's moronic beyond belief.

Who comes up with these loony ideas? Adam Sandler? Is Will Ferrell running TSA?

Because if you saw this stuff in a movie, you'd think it was bad comedy.

  10. Eric,
sooner or later the South is going to be forced into action against the NorKs. When that happens, will our leadership allow us to stand with our allies or not?

  11. Salty,
sad and funny....but very close to the truth with our esteemed Muslim in Chief.

  12. Brian,
DC has the best screenwriters in the biz on the payroll these days.

    ReplyDelete
  13. 1. Nope. The solution to the screening of airline passengers goes right back to profiling. We've tried all the b.s. "nice" ways and they don't work. Back to profiling. It works. Ipso facto.

    2. I'd be really surprised if Oklahoma nullified the law. Of course Oklahoma City is pretty much like urban sprawls elsewhere. Like a friend down at the water hole said, "The only damn thing wrong with Oklahoma is Oklahoma City."

    3. Once again the Geneva accords say that if an armed combatant NOT IN UNIFORM is captured he may be shot immediately. Why can those idiots not understand this? Next the only way to try a terrorist is by tribunal, followed by firing squad. With bullets dipped in hog lard.

    4. Oh, no. Don't tell me that ol' "..read my lips.." and and son of read my lips, the "compassionate conservative," were NOT conservatives!!!!

    5. I don't worry about "our side". The South just ain't going to put up with this schidt much longer. With or without us. I am sure they as well as Formosa have seen our betrayal of Israel and decided they are pretty much on their own. We cannot be trusted as an ally. Another ipso fa

  14. Chinas "problem child" just loves to throw a tantrum--the trouble is it effects the adults--as far as George HW is conserned did he say he did not know about the Tea party?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Buck,
    1) Profiling is step 1. It must be done.
    2) OK won't nullify the law, but a federal judge (who has no Constitutional say in the matter) may nullify it.
    3) Every single person that we sent behind the lines in WW2 understood that if they got caught, their chances of survival were slim to nil.
    4) The Bush family is almost as conservative as the Clintons.
    5) Dunno if the South has the cojones to hit back strongly unless we are providing serious support.

  16. C-bow,
China's problem children occasionally need to be spanked.
All of the Bushies are liberals and blind to reality.
